Practie, Routines, & Blessings...

Well I haven't blogged in a bit, the Payne's have defintly been busy! I will start with Caitlin. She is enrolled in dance and enjoying Dale she seems to have a lot more engery these days and seems to be really happy! I think the change to Dale has been great for her she is starting to be more interested in boys which I don't think Jeremy is ready for, but he will have to deal! She will be turning 11 in a week so life with her is going to start to get interesting!

Benjamin is the busiest of the three right now he is practicing baseball and is going to play flag football, which I really didn't believe he would because of our 1st football experience was not a good one at all but since it is flag football & we had a free night why not! It was a surprise to me & my thinking is how are we going to fit this in, but it is 6 weeks so Saturday mornings here we come with more games! He has adjusted to Dale and really likes it. Its amazing how a different environment brings out the best in kids. You know Jeremy & I went to Dale and I really enjoyed my time there, its just neat to see Caitlin & Benajamin realizing that there are several different oppurnities out there for them. They are so active!

But my active little toddler Owin, is getting so big! He doesn't miss a beat! He believes that he is as old as Caitlin and Ben. Tonight we went to baseball practice usually we stay home & have Owin & momma time but tonight we went & sitting there watching him follow the girls (sisters of the boys playing ball) around, he thought he was just like them as old as them. It was so cute. We bought him the baseball toliet seat its not officially potty training time yet but we put him on it everynight to try to spark a interest in it, but he has none so far, but we have got plently of time for that!
I recently read a blog of my cousins and she talked about blessings these three are blessings to me! These three kids are the world to Jeremy & I. The running around from practice to practice squeezing homework in, the confusion of dinner on practice nights, its what makes it all fun & worth it. & at times it does get the best of me I have to stop & think would I want it any other way & the answer is no. The busy , schedule & trying to keep Owin on some sorta of routine is a challenge but I wouldn't have it any other way! I am posting some pictures of the kids throughout the last few weeks there will be more to come since everything is starting back up but here are a few of my favorites!

New School & A Wedding

Caitlin & Benjamin started school at Dale today. Caitlin was nervous & we thought she would shed some tears, & yes it brought back my memories of crying my first day at Dale, so I was worried about her. However she completely suprised us, she said it was awesome which relief came over me then. I think we hoped for the best but prepared for the worst. She was the decideing factor on going to Dale. Benjamin had wanted to go since last fall, but when Caitlin went to basketball camp she wanted to so here we are.

Benjamin had a different day one we weren't expecting from him. He makes friends easier and talks a lot so we really didn't expect to say it wasn't fun. But it turns out it was not as bad as he made it out to be! All of the kids that he knows are in the other class which we told him he can make more new friends, but he did make 2 friends in his class and they are both girls! He does get to see the kids in the other class, so its not to bad he finally said just takes some time he said. So he had postive outlook I think! So again relief finally! I have been worried about this!

Owin started his day in a cute outfit (well as cute as a boy can be) and took a bath in goolosh today! He came home in his extra clothes but I think I have to make him goolosh now! He likes it!

This past weekend my cousin Kaylee got married and she had the kids and my nephews do little jobs in her wedding. And by the way Kaylee looked beautiful! She had Benjamin Davis be a Jr. groomsmen and Ben Payne & Jackson Phelps be candle lighters & Caitlin Payne handle the book duties. I didn't get to take pictures but Jana my sister did. She took some great ones of the kids. So these pictures are from her and her camera! So yes I swiped them!

They were really great pictures. Caitlin looks way to old, which did not make her daddy happy at all, but he will have to deal with it! Owin's white shirt didn't stay white at the reception he and the red punch met and the red punch won! However his Papa got the white shirt back to white again so we thanked him for that! The kids were great in the wedding, despite Ben Davis about knocking himself out on the candlabra, it could of been worse! But it was a funny moment that I think we will all remember about Kaylee's wedding this & Chase shoveing cake all over her! But that is all for now!

Owin Already workin' MOM

Owin has become quite the little kisser, and he knows just when he should do it like when he is getting in trouble. He already knows how to work me, this isn't good right, at 18 months he shouldn't know this! Well here is the story.

My little man has quite the arm on him, and he should considering that his entire life has basically been spent at a baseball field or at basketball gym. He throws his Binky and has very good aim with it! On Saturday he got me right smack in the middle of the eye, it water and was funny, a few minutes later boom he gets Jeremy in the eye, and that was funny! Jeremy and I take full responsibility for this new problem cause we laugh & clap & say good throw Owin at everything he does. Ok so here is the part that melted me... I got him out of the tub Sunday getting him dried off diapered teeth brush you know. He takes his binky throws it right square in the middle of my eye. He laughs but I am not. I am getting on to him and he knows he is in trouble he had that fear like oh crap I made her mad. So as I am shaking my finger and saying no, no, you don't throw it at momma & if you throw it again we are throwing it in the trash, he bends down in kisses me, I just stopped and tried saying it again, yeah didn't work cause he kisses me again, He knows what he is doing, it made me laugh and cry at the same time. Jeremy couldn't believe that he already was doing this & I melted, but really how could you not!

My little man amazes me everyday how he knows already exactly what Jeremy and I tell him or how he just says its Hot. Its crazy to think that it has already been 18 months it really has went by fast. He is one of a kind!

Benjamin's Day as a Mudhen...

We spent our Saturday playing baseball yestrday. Benjamin played with the Mudhens in a tournament in Blanchard. It was a fun day HOT but a lot cooler than it has been! He played with my two nephews Benjamin Davis, & Jackson Phelps. It was nice, I haven't got to see them play so much cause we all play on the same nights, so it was good to finally watch these two also! They won 3rd place in this tournamet played four games. Jeremy had told Benjamin that he would not yell at him that this would be fun and a good experience for him, well we all know Jeremy can't help himself, Benjamin hit the ball & I guess forgot to run I don't know why or how he forgot this part but he did! We all yelled RUN! Anyway after trying to explain why Jeremy yelled at him when he said he wouldn't Benjamin laid down a bunt and things were better a smile on his face finally! He started out a bit nervous I think, he won't admit it though! The boys called him "butter" he wore a jersey of this boy who wasn't there named Utter, so they called him "butter" and the "Utterone" which was Caitlins favorite! Jeremy for the first 2 games got to see how fun it is to chase Owin around however he did get a bruise on the back of his head on Jeremy's watch! But we are over that!!LOL! Anyway Owin and Riley played together, Caitlin took pictures which is why she is not in any of these cause she took most of them as the boys played! Benjamin said after it was over walking to the car,"that this was a good thing for him, he met new people, laid down a bunt, and got another trophy" he is growin up and it was nice to hear him say that & realize that! It was a nice day here are some of the pictures of the boys!

My Family

Hi I have decided to join the bloggers I know. After reading several of my families & friends blogs I decided this was a great way to keep a record of all the little funny day to day things these little Paynes like to do or say! So here is my little Family. This picture was taken on fathers day and it is quite hard to get eveyone to coroperate, they all have extremely different personalities!

Jeremy and I were marrried three years ago as most of you know, and Caitlin and Benjamin live with us full time now and Owin completed our little family! The kids are interested in many things from basketball, dance & baseball & Owin goes along and watches not patiently but he watches!

Caitlin is ten and a huge help! She acts older than she is and right now that is a great thing. She is a great big sister and helper around the house. She loves to dance and plays basketball but she is thinking of playing softball now! So we will see! She loves her brothers and helps keep them in line!

Benjamin is a ballplayer he is seven and believe it or not the most challenging of the three! He is a picky eater which I can say gives me fits, I mean have you seen a kid puke by eating one little squash or green bean, and will only eat bean burritos from Taco Bell but hates beans anywhere else. He keeps me on my toes. He has become quite the little ball player most of our weekends in the summer are spent playing baseball and he makes it fun!

And Owin he is my baby. He is a lot of work as well, I think its a boy thing! He is a very busy, busy toddler! He has a laugh and a cry that are so much a like its unreal! He wants to do everything his brother and sister does. Caitlin has taught him to clog and Benjamin has taught him to get into a catcher stance and say "hey batter batter batter swing batter!" He really is special at least I think so!

Well thats a little bit about my people. Most of you already know this. But I will share the funny stories or the stressful days with you. I never understood how much joy, and heartache a child can bring to you until these three children, they have there own uniqueness that I love and everyday they surprise me. unitl next time!
