It has been a busy time at the Payne house as usual! My big boy turned 3 years old last week. And he told me to quit calling him baby because he is a big boy now. Yes my heart did brake but it was a good brake, my little man is very independent and that is what we are going for right? I mean he can't be a baby baby forever. But he still likes to cuddle with his momma! I took cupcakes to daycare for him and his class. I watched the class dance to different songs and Owin was holding hands dancing with a girl. She turned smiled & waved at me as she danced with my baby (big boy!) It was very cute but also made me think about the future!

We had a Dinosaur party for Owin at our house! He loves Dinosaurs had balloons and a Dinosaur cake. Owin had been telling people that they weren't invited mainly girls because it was a all boy party. He even told me not to come, but I told him I was bringing the cake, so he let me come then! That's basically how it went he told Jerri, Caitlin, Christy, and the Thompson's girls they could come if they got him a gift! My son is a mess, not bashful at all! We had a great birthday and it is so hard to believe that 3 years have went by so fast. He went from being 9lbs to throwing a baseball hard in a flash. So now the adventure begins we are seriously talking about wee-ball for Owin to go along with a full baseball schedule for Ben. But that is what is all about right. Also on Owin's actual birthday we made breakfast for dinner! Jeremy & I decided that this will be somethin we do for every kid on there birthday, just something that we do together, have pancakes on there birthdays! The kids seemed to enjoy it and we put a candle in Owin's birthday pancakes! It was a fun supper and a tradition I hope we started with our little family!
So it has been a exciting week not just for the Payne's but if you live in Oklahoma. Another blizzard has hit us and have basically been in the house getting out of it 2 days for work. The kids only had one day of school this week. It is very strange to see all the snow so much snow actually. It was fun to play in with the kids! So I leave you with some pictures from my BIG BOY's birthday and the rest of us Payne's in the snow! Happy Birthday OWIN!

A Trip to the Dentist & then Some Ball

So this last week was a bit of a struggle for this momma. But again I had a lot of help from Jeremy during it. Like I have told people a week ago I scheduled 3 dentist appts. and Owin's 3 year pictures all on one day. I had no idea that Owin would be getting over being sick or that I would be sick. But I was and I had to get through it! So off we go to the dentist appt.

Big Ben went first and he has no cavities, but has a crowded mouth just like his sister so braces are in there future! I think we can thank there daddy for that! He had to have braces to, so its a good thing Greewma works at the orthodontist! Anyway Owin was next and 6 months is a HUGE difference in a toddler! 6 months ago I had to hold him in my lap lay my body across him and hold his arms. This time he hopped right up in that chair as if he had done it 100 times before! They let him hold the sucker thing which he thought was pretty cool! And he let the ladies do there job. He watched tv with the sunglasses they give you to keep the light out of your eyes! He thought that was awesome! No Cavities for him either! & Ms Caitlin came out with no cavities as well but with a disgusted look on her face she hates what they use to clean her mouth at the end!

So 3 kids no cavities so off to school we go just in time for P.E. for Ben! In this hectic day I made myself a dr appt. However my dr was almost 2 hrs behind which meant that Jeremy was going to have to get Owin and get him to his pictures... So finally I see the Dr. and off to get Owin to his pictures! It was a crazy day but it all made it worth it when my little man smiled and behaved so good for him pictures! What a difference a year makes here! He was a bit rotten last year for his pictures! But was so precious this time around!

Again we topped our week off with basketball so I leave you with a few pictures of Owin at the dentist and Caitlin & Ben playing some basketball!

I have been a poor blogger...

Ok I know I have been a very poor blogger... It has been over a year since I last posted, and my kids have grown so much in a year. I have to catch you up on the activity with the Payne Gang! I don't know where to start we had a great 2010, playing some type of ball somewhere. I guess we should start with baseball that's where we spend most of our time!

Benjamin had a great summer season his team the Spikes won the Coach Pitch State Championship. It was a great experience for him and his team mates! We traveled from one side of the state to the other. Regionals were in Preston Oklahoma a great place to play ball at and there is a Dairy Queen not to far from Preston! It was raining and HOT, but the mom survived and so did Owin a spray water bottle that is great for a 2 year old!

Speaking of Owin he was quite the little traveler, he did great going to ballgames, it is hard to keep him off the field or a court! He thinks he is 9 years old just like his brother! He traveled to Elk City on our journey in the state tournament stayed in hotels. But his most exciting trip was to the Great Wolf Lodge! He still talks about it and you have to play Great Wolf Lodge in the bathtub with him. YOu take a cup and poor water on the top of his head and he thinks we are at GWL! We took that trip with Greewma, Papa, Justin and Christy. We had a great time and did some shopping while we were in Texas.

Caitlin Payne is quite the shopper, she has every name brand you can think of from Nike, Northface, TOMS you name it she has it. She is playing basketball this season and she is in band playing the trumpet. She had her first band concert. Her basketball team is good they just finished 3rd in the Sooner State games. Caitlin is tough, and aggressive, we are working on confidence and shooting. We are proud of her.

We are proud of all 3. Jeremy has finished working on the house. It is nice having with us at nights instead of him coming home and working! He has done a excellent job on the house. We have it up for sale, and in the beginning had a lot of traffic, now it has slowed way down. But in time it will all work out I just have to be patient! That is easier said then done, if you know me! Thats been a year in a nutshell! I promise to write more often that once a year! Below are some pictures from Christmas eve, and just before the Christmas Program and the band concert!
